006: Calvary of Arrange Marriage

"August, son, pay respect to your Aunt Alana and Uncle Anton," Uncle Augustine commanded.

August was forced to look at my parents and greet them. When his glance directed at me, I immediately felt uneasy. I saw how the side of his lips rose up, as if sarcastically smirking at me, mocking me on that way.

I firmly met his eyes and gave him an intense, dark glare.

How dare him smirk at me like that? I know I also made a mistake on leaving him behind, alone in the air. But fuck it! It's his fault! It's his fault for being such an idiot fucker!

He sat down on the seat at my front. I can feel the stares of our family just because of his actions. He didn't even bother to speak up just to talk to me.

I sneered at the air out of irritation.

What do you expect, Aliana Bliare? Do you expect him to treat you good after your break up?

That must be awkward!

I was just thankful Uncle Augustine cleared his throat in between the silence.

"About the wedding..." Uncle Augustine stopped for a moment to look at me. "What do you want, hija? A beach wedding? A church wedding? What do you want? You can suggest about it since it's your wedding," Uncle Augustine stated which made me look at August. When I saw the sarcastic written all over his face, I immediately felt annoyed. I held back my temper while I was on my seat and avoid myself on punching his fucking face.

"Ate Blaire, if I were you, I'd choose beach wedding. It would be great, especially you could do your honeymoon there right after the wedding," Violet teasingly stated which made our parents laugh.

Nicole, on the other hand, winced while listening at her sister at the side. "You know, ate Violet, you always think things that way. Why don't you try to consider good things? Try to consider the church. Your bad attitude is so evident, really," Nicole retorted which gain a sarcastic laugh from Violet.

"Nic, did you just say, church? You know I am a henchwoman of Satan, and you expect me to suggest church wedding for ate Blaire?" Violet sarcastically stated which made me shook my head.

"That's enough. You two would clash about that even you weren't the ones that would be getting married," Uncle Augustine retorted which made Violet and Nicole groan.

"Dad, we're just trying to suggest," the two of them said with a pout on their lips which made us laugh.

"When we'll talk on that term, you'll really vibe yet you two would have different ideas," Uncle Augustine pointed out which made the two wince at each other.

When I was about to speak, I saw how August adjusted himself on his seat.

"No need for that," August suddenly spoke which made us all look at him.

"What do you mean, son?" Uncle Augustine confusingly stated.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Mom, Dad, Aunt and Uncle, but I don't think I can pursue the wedding," August announced which gain a gasp from our parents.

I expected it though.

"What the fuck is this, son? We talked about this already, didn't we? You agreed on this so don't bother backing out. I won't let you back out of this deal, August."

I was slightly surprised by Uncle's words, not because of his anger about August backing out, but because of what he said about agreeing to the wedding.

Did August, really agree on marrying me?

Is that... true?

Or I was just hearing things.

I surprisingly looked at August and when he saw the way I stared at him, he immediately blinked, hissing a bit. He averted his gaze away and directly look at my parents.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Aunt and Uncle, but I don't think I can marry a woman who doesn't have marriage in mind," August mockingly says which made my parents sigh in disappointment.

"What? August Alquezer! I didn't raise you to be disrespectful! How could you do this in front of your Aunt Alana and Uncle Anton?"

I saw how August mockingly smirk at his Dad as if he's in great pain for what he's been hearing.

"How could you say I'm being disrespectful, Dad? Let's just say I disrespected them that's why I'm being rude here. But... did you even think of how would I feel if I'd live in one roof with that girl?" August retorted making Uncle Augustine's eyes widen, like he's shocked to hear his son's words.

He then held his chest, which made us all in the private room to panic.

"How could you..."

I saw the muddle on August's face when he saw his Dad holding its chest, yet he can't come to him because he knew his Dad's still disappointed in him.

"Augustine, honey, please calm down," Aunt Nicolette pleaded her husband. She then look at August with a stern look. "And you... let's talk at the house," Aunt added with a cold voice before glancing at us.

"I am so sorry for what my son had done, Alana and Anton. I thought we had our discussion clear, but it seems like it's not," Aunt Nicolette says, intentionally let August hear those words, making the latter sneer at the air.

He stood up and leave us behind without anything to say. When he was about to finally leave the room, Aaron suddenly spoke up, his eyes still on his brother.

"Then if August doesn't want to marry Blaire, let me be, Aunt Alana," Aaron suddenly stated which made us gasp in surprise. I can also see from my peripheral vision how August stopped on his tracks.

"How about that, August? Will you be fine with that? I'll marry your bride since you don't want her in your life. That would be fine, right?"

I glanced at August. I was surprised to see how he formed his fist, like he didn't like his brother's idea.

"Your choice. But all I know is that you never pick a trash, especially my trash, Ron," August finally stated which we all gasped about.

I secretly gritted my teeth in annoyance. How could he compare me to a trash? More likely as his trash?

"August, what the..." Auntie Nicolette stated in surprise. She then apologetically looked at us, especially at me.

"I am so sorry about that. We didn't expect August would do such a mess like this," Aunt apologetically stated which my parents just smile about.

"It's okay, Nicole. We can't force August if he doesn't want to marry our daughter. We know that they have a past. We should expect that reaction from him. It's quite hard on their part to live in one roof knowing they had something on their past," Mom listlessly stated which made me avert my eyes off her.

I cleared my throat and stood up. "I'll just go to the restroom," I managed to say which they didn't contradict.

When arrived at the restroom, I immediately look at the mirror. The memories of us, of how August cheated on me, made my eyes watered in pain.

I can still remember how excited I am upon visiting him on his work before. Even when he told me not to pay him a visit for the entire time yet I was hardheaded back then and forced myself to visit him. I was expecting him to be surprised for my sudden visit, yet I was the one ended up being surprised on the scene.

I saw him kissing Adelaide, his girl bestfriend.

"Deeper, please," the girl says, moaning at the inside of the cubicle which made me back to reality. I quickly dried my tears my wiping it away before deciding to leave.

I just took a few steps when I heard her moan again, but in a malicious way this time.

"That's it, August. Shit! I'm cumming!"

I can still hear how the girl crazily moan at the cubicle. But when I've heard the name that made her moan like that, I immediately stopped on my tracks.

My tears deliberately streamed down on my cheeks.

August hasn't changed at all. He never fails to hurt me in a worst possible way.
