Chapter Two

 The mean looking short blonde American police man said to me sternly. I couldn't believe the sudden turn of events. Words eluded me at that moment because I could barely say anything other than muttering some words of prayer. I couldn't imagine that my curiosity had landed me in a big trouble that would definitely cost me a whole lot. Mum would be very much happy if she found out that I had been arrested by the Police moreover, she had never really cared about me or anything that concerned me. The person that I really felt for was actually Kelly, she must be really worried about my supposed where about. With that, I was immediately handcuffed and forced into the police van. The experience was actually terrible for me.

    STAR ESTABLISHMENT AND GROUP OF COMPANIES.

   HEADQUARTER.

  The atmosphere of the office was very calm and tensive as every where was dead quite. Anita was already regretting why she didn't listen to Mama Lulu who warned her earlier about talking to much. Just then, the boss Luke broke the silence. "The both of you should get out of my office immediately!". Anita was very much tensed and shocked at the same but she couldn't do anything about it. She was even more tensed because no one could predict the next line of action Luke was going to take moreover, it was unlike him to ignore those kind of things. "I'm not gonna forgive you if I ever loose my job because of your over sized big mouth, you barely have control over it and now you've put me in trouble as a result of it." The both ladies had quitely walked out of Luke's office the moment he asked them out and they were almost fighting at the stair way. Pitch wasn't having any of it because she was very much furious at Anita and also scared that she was going to loose her job. It wasn't going to be funny if she lost her job moreover, she had expected Luke to fire Anita at the instant.

   The news of the incident was already everywhere about how the boss Luke caught Anita gossiping about him. A whole lot of the staff were very much happy because they already knew her as a saucy and rude young lady who found it very hard to respect anyone. Mama Lulu heard about the incident, she decided to talk about it with the staff in the welfare department with her. "That girl is so disrespectful and egocentric and I know that she wouldn't last with this silly attitude of hers. I'm not gonna interfere in anything that concerns her again. Anita was having the worst phase of her life because everyone was apparently avoiding and treating her like some sort of plague. She was messed up already and she really knew that.

  For the past two days, I've been behind bars without the hope of leaving soonest or coming out alive. The both parties involved in the actual fight were from rich families and it wasn't hard for the whole matter to be pushed and shifted on my head. My only concern was on Kelly, she would be really worried and sick about it already. I keep trying my possible best to hold back the tears building up in my eyes but trust me, I couldn't hold them anymore and I bursted out and began to cry uncontrollably. At that instant, I just wished God would take me away from this world which is filled with hate and evil. Just then, someone walked into my cell. I finally looked up to behold one of the finest guys I've ever set my eyes on. He must be really influential and rich because everyone there gave him extreme respect. "Hey Pretty Lady, I came around the police station to process some documents when I heard your cries and I must say, it really touched me so deep because I understand the feeling." The guy's cuteness couldn't even let me reply him, all I could do was to drool at him till my satisfaction. I didn't equally have the strength to speak to anyone because I felt it was very unnecessary. "You ain't saying anything at all well, my name is Roman, I've settled your bail, you are free to go back home to your family and live your normal life again. Just always remember that a guy like me once saved you when you needed help." I couldn't believe my ears because I knew that no one of my relatives knew the exact place or prison I was and I felt I wasn't also going to make it out alive. The guy stood up to leave because he had been squatting all the while but I quickly held his hand and muttered a weak "Thank you." I was immediately guided at by the prison Warden to the counter and the mystery guy was still outside waiting for me to join the ride.

  KELLY'S POV.

  The past three days had been hell for me because I couldn't believe that Anna was missing mysteriously like she just vanished into thin air. Her mum wasn't bothered in any way and that even made my suspicions rise the more. I was worried that Anna might have gotten into trouble or she must have run away. "But can Anna rub away without telling me?" That's the exact question I've been asking myself because I still found it hard to believe that fact. She had been contemplating suicide all this while and she had also been so depressed lately. All I wanted and prayed for was her safety and safe return from where ever she must have gone to. "Dear Lord, for my sake protect Anna and make her come back safely." I had several panic attacks and I was restless too. I could only mutter simple word of prayers because words had eluded me. Just then, my dad walked into my room looking very worried.

  "It's past mid night my love, your best friend and Sister Anna is safe and would come back very soon. The only good thing you can do for her, is to be optimistic and then sleep well." My dad was a reverend so, he believed in miracles and the safety of Anna. I was happy that he was in my room to comfort me because I had really missed the company of someone especially since the disappearance of my friend Anna. "Thank you dad for assuring me that Anna would cone back really soon, I love you very much and I'll go back to sleep immediately." I watched my dad put off my room light as he walked out of the room. I am a big daddy's little girl, I love him a whole lot more than I do towards mum. I could feel sleep building up and there was no way I could cheat nature.

  "Anna, you're really a funny girl, you look beautiful too. I'm glad that you're no longer at the confinement of the prison." I really loved the sense of humor and aura that Roman had, he was a free spirited individual and he had a great sense of humor. My ribs were already cracked up that I forgot a whole lot of what I was passing through. Roman shared almost the same strength and similarities with me. His mother hated him so much that she tried giving him up for adoption but when it didn't work out, she got married to her secret lover and they both ran away to a little Asian State. I could vividly notice that Roman tried his possible best to hide his emotions because he was very much broken and emotional as he shared his story. "You don't have to cry Roman, you're really an amazing personality and I feel bad that you really had to grow to all that because of your mum. I face similar issue and my mum makes life really unbearable and tiresome for me but I believe that I would get over it and become better soonest." One problem I had was emotions, I couldn't control it at all. I had begun crying with Roman because I couldn't control it already. I know that I'm definitely gonna be a mother someday, but I'll make sure to be the most amazing and sweetest mother that any child would be proud of. I wouldn't make my children pass through the pains and setbacks I faced and encountered as growing child. 

  

   LUKE'S POV.

   STAR ESTABLISHMENT ESTATES.

   LUKE'S RESIDENCS.

  This night's weather is very much chilly and cold, I've heard about my staff talking trash behind my back but I didn't believe that I will ever experience or have any of them say it to my face or hearing. I knew and understood that I really needed to work on my self even more to avoid being insulted again but that wasn't gonna be my issue because I was definitely gonna make those girls eat their dirty words. "They don't even know what I'm capable of doing to them but for the meantime, I'ma gonna use them both to my maximum satisfaction."

  My friendship with Roman was on the crazy level already because I couldn't really describe what I felt for him although deep down, I knew my heart was connected to his at some point. I was still thinking about the whole thing when a soft drag on my hair jolted me back to reality. "Ohh, daydreamer. I've been calling you all this while but it's definitely obvious that your mind isn't here. So, tell me what's bothering you my sweet Anna?" Roman had this charming personality of being nice to people and giving then listening ears if they needed any. 

  "I'm fine." I responded trying to feign happiness. I knew that I wasn't happy about the sudden turn out of events and how things were going. I was overly worried about Kelly's health and how she was gonna feel about my sudden departure. "You ain't happy Anna, I know it when you're because it is very much infectious. Tell me what the matter bothering you is." I didn't wanna talk about anything with anyone not even Roman but I decided to ask him for help to know if he could help me speak with Kelly. "Roman, I appreciate every great thing you've been doing for me and how much love you've been showing me but the thing is, I really wanna get in touch with my best friend Kelly, I know that she'll be really worried me." I cried uncontrollably as the tears in my eyes refused to be controlled. Roman let me make some calls with his phone and I felt a renewed energy and will after speaking with my friend again.

  The cold breeze was very much as it was beginning to snow. The view from the top of Roman's castle was so beautiful. He saved me from those mean police officers and since then he's been showing me great love which I don't ever take for granted. It was a beautiful sight to watch the snow fall. I wasn't born with a silver spoon so I really knew what those moments actually meant to me. Roman was a tech guy so he was always busy but he came to check on me on almost all intervals not minding if it was distracting him or not. I wondered why such a handsome guy would be soo humble and humane. He was equally every passionate on how he treated other people too.

  "Do you care for some coffee tea? Not to worry, I'll get them even if you don't need them because this weather is very much cold." He said and run off the kitchen to get the coffee done. In just few minutes, he came back with two tea cups, toasted bread and some smoothies. "So you enjoying this weather very." I found my voice and asked him. Roman let out a wide grin to me. "Yes I do, this is my best weather and I don't joke with it. I do most of things during this snow period. I love snow skiing and this is also the best weather for lovers." I didn't wanna ask him about his past relationship because I found it very unnecessary to ask.

  The atmosphere of the room was getting intensified as we both began feeling a strong wire of connection. Roman had stood up from the side of the couch were he sat and came over to my side but I felt very uncomfortable about it. "I want you Anna, I want you!" He said passionately as he drew his lips towards mine.
