A bad chef

I fluttered my eyes open the moment my phone's alarm vibrated in my ear followed by the incessant grumbling of my stomach.

I was starving and my body ached me. Fuck.

I pushed the duvets off my body and dragged my sleepy legs to the floor.

I recoiled in my skin feeling the cold tiles come in contact with my bare legs.

After yesterdays ordeal with Braden, I couldn't dare to even wake up a minute after six am.

I took a sharp glance at the wall clock. It was 5:35am.

Even though I had slept in such a very comfortable bed, I didn't have a sound slumber.

My stomach grumbled on all sides, reminding me of the fact that I hadn't eaten.

I was very much tempted to sneak out and prepare something light for myself in the middle of the night.

But Braden was so mysterious, he moved like a hawk. I didn't even want to imagine the consequences of my actions if he caught me.

So I bore my hunger till dawn.
