Two Weeks Later

Elias POV:

It's been two weeks since the last time I saw Mila. I thought I would see her again, but she never came back. I never understood the reason why she never came back, I thought she felt the same way I did. But maybe I was wrong? or maybe she's just busy? Or maybe I'm just in denial. I don't know. The only thing I know is that she's always on my mind. I dream about her, I think I see her everywhere honestly it's kind of sad if you ask me. But I can't help it I'm in love, right? I just wish I could see her again.

I got called to a council meeting for the Empire leaders. The room was dimly lit, mainly for the vampires. The Empire leaders were all sitting around at desks that formed a large circle around the room. The Kings sat with their mates or chosen Queen by their side.
