Amanda immediately stood up because of what Marla said, her knees seemed to be weak and her tears were slowly falling. "Mariz? Really? Our sister?” she said, crying.

Marla nodded and went to hug Amanda. "Yes, Amanda. Our sister Mariz called…” Marla said softly.

Amanda faced Marla and grabbed both shoulders. "Where is she? What did he say? Can we call her again? When will he come back to us?” Amanda asked continuously.

Marla's face suddenly became sad when Amanda asked them. "She didn't say anything about those, Amanda. She just called me and said she is Mariz, after that, she hung up the call,” explained Marla.

Amanda was surprised by what Marla said, she wondered why Mariz would do that. “Why would he do that? Does he not want us anymore? Does he not want to see us and be with us anymore?"
