Chapter 77

The car has directions, so I don't have to worry about getting lost. After leaving the forest, I entered the highway. I drove at a speed as fast as the wind. I relaxed because I had left the forest. I hoped to find a car on the road, but the road was very deserted; there was no car other than mine.

Because it is a highway, both sides are empty lots full of weeds or desolate and dry land with no houses. After driving for about fifteen minutes, I saw a black car before me. I should have been glad I was seeking help, but I didn't understand why my gut told me I shouldn't stop.

My car and that black car were getting closer and closer to each other because both cars were running at a fast speed, so the time was only measured in seconds. I didn't have time to think, so I finally followed my hunch. When my car and that black car passed each other, I could see that inside that car were two men with ordinary faces. They also saw me, and our eyes met for less than a second.
