Flora jerked from sleep all of a sudden in fear but Orville was with her at this moment so he pulled her closer dearly.
She adjusted into a sitting position and curled her body around Orville.
"Was it a night mare?" Orville asked and she nodded.
"That's right, it's so scary," Flora said, her head resting on his chest and her hand resting on his lap.
"I'm sorry sweetheart," Orville tried to comfort her.
Flora remembered what happened hours ago and opened her mouth to speak but swallowed her words back. Orville noticed it but didn't bother to say a word. He didn't want to have to force her to say anything.
Flora felt so much comfort as she curled her body around him. He was the same person who acted brutally hours ago but inexplicably, she finds so much comfort in him now.
