Evelyn made a blind dash into the woods. She wasn't even wearing any shoes but could care less. The sharp edges of the small rocks and the branches tore her skin and ruined her soles but she wasn't feeling any pain.

All she could feel was the sheer amount of terror that enveloped her soul. At that moment she just wanted to run away from hell and the monster who was hell-bent on giving her pain. She just wanted to see her brother, she even told Axel to let her see him from afar and yet being a cruel monster he declined her.

He left her no choice. She felt her mind would explode if she stayed in that cage even for a second.

Evelyn heard a low growl from behind her and her heart churned in her ribcage as she fastened her pace.
