Silence echoed in the room as she stood there near the closed door in her pajamas fisting the edge of her shirt.

Axel opened his cufflinks and rolled his sleeves up all the while keeping his eyes fixed on her. He wasn't expecting her to show up in his room like this. He was aware of her hide-and-seek game. She always hid in her room whenever he was present in the mansion.

She wasn't saying anything as she kept on shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

Axel shifted his gaze away from her assuming that it might be making her uncomfortable, still, she stayed mum.

With a sigh, he got up to his feet and walked to the closet to get his clothes out. She was still silent like a night.
