Evelyn hesitated before taking two steps toward him but still, she was three steps away from him.

"I'm not going to kill you," He muttered, annoyed.

It felt like a threat coming from a man who has turned her life upside down.

She didn't move an inch from her place. There was no one in the big silent mansion. Her heart was pounding in her ears because she was scared of what was to come.

"Go to the second last room on the second floor," He said.
