Nemesis Raid

Miranda's POV

I was thinking that I would fall to the ground due to the force used to push me, but lucky enough I fell in the arms of someone familiar.

From his scent I could tell that it was someone familiar more like someone I know personally.

"Why did you push her?" He asked as I took my gaze to meet with his, and I was surprised to see that it was none other than him, it was my bestie, the only human that has always stood by me without asking for anything in return.

I was dazed when I saw him, I never thought that he would respond so quickly.

"Jason!" I muttered with so much excitement. "It's you." I said and checked him to make sure that it was truly him, and indeed it was him, flesh and hearty.

He was looking as strong as ever. "It's truly you." I muttered as I hugged him so tightly.

"How are you." He asked as I said nothing.

"I can see that you're not fine and there's no need for me to ask of your wellbeing." He said as I released a sad smile.

He then took his gaze to Darren. I
