Would You Do That?

Shaking off all the thoughts, I waited for Eric to return. I couldn't call anyone. I seriously need to go there and meet.

It's all because of the invention of the phone that we never memorize anyone's numbers.

But I'll memorize everyone's numbers now. As Eric entered the room, he raised his eyebrows twice before resting them again asking me if I called anyone.

"I don't remember anyone's number." I sighed. I left my phone in the car before we headed to meet Roy. I frowned as a question popped up in my mind.

"It's okay. Meet them when you're okay." He patted my head.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked. Seeing my serious face, he frowned too.

"Yeah, sure."

"When you found me, did you find anyone else with me?" I asked.

I know this might be a stupid question or may create many doubts but I needed to make sure if Roy was still alive.

He hesitated to speak for a while which tensed me. Growing up anxiety ate up all my patience as I sat straight ignoring the pain for some time.

"Uh... yes." H
