Seven: Duct Tape & Pop Songs

My head snaps against the side of the car. Pain erupts across my forehead, pulling me from the abyss. My body bounces along, in a SUV, my hands and feet are bound, with tape over my mouth. I would be that stupid bitch in the horror movie. We all know the one. Running alone, like an idiot, who gets snatched.

My mom has to be freaking the fuck out right now. I’m freaking the fuck out right now. My body aches, stiff, and cramped from being stuck in an uncomfortable position for too long.

My wrists burn from the silver cuffs, the flesh bubbling and blistering from the poison. My wolf is locked away, unable to help me against my attackers, a bag over my head. My mouth itches like crazy, my sensitive skin reacting to the glue, making me lightheaded.

“You think we found the right one?” A female voice asks, and the tension in my shoulder eases a bit, but not by much. They’re searching for someone, but who? “She doesn’t smell much like a rogue...”
