Chapter 9

"I heard a certain someone isn't eating these days”, Eben sang as he walked into Freya's room, a goofy smile on his face and a plate of pancakes on his arms as he tried to close the door.

Freya rolled her eyes and looked out the window, her eyes taking in the green scenery below her room.

“Captain America to the save, yay!”, She sassed.

“C'mon, don't be like that. I worry about you”, Eben dropped the food and shuffled on his legs when the woman made no moves to sit down.

“It's the best pancakes in town. I had Xen make it specifically for you”, he sad again.

Freya still cast her eyes ousde, a forlorn look on her stressed face.

One look at her and one could tell that she was not sleeping well. Her face looked drawn and she had lost a bit of weight since she got here.

A bird flies far and high but it never fails to visit it's nest, bringing food to it's chicks and doting on them.
