Chapter 53

"Dexter!"

Dexter bowed his head down, thinking that his life would be over. However, he recollected himself very quickly and came up with an idea.

"Mr. Hamilton, I'm sure that the person in charge made a mistake. I gave him clear instructions, yet he didn't do according to what I said. I've got to scold him!"

Then, Dexter ran away like a streak of smoke.

Hayden stood there as he stared at the key and felt his temples twitching.

'Did Wyneth think that giving her a place to stay is humiliating because the flowers were sent to the wrong person?

'Who was the person who took the flowers then?'

Dexter came back from making the call very soon after that.

He seemed like a completely different person than before as he hung his head low, looking very dejected.

"Mr. Hamilton, it was my mistake. I should've delivered the flowers personally."

Hayden's mood was not any better compared to Dexter's either.

He looked very solemn.

"So, who ended up receiving my gifts?"
