As soon as Nathan heard Hayden's mention of his name on the phone, he felt a chill run down his spine. He quickly tried to explain, "M-Mr. Hamilton, I'm not the one pushing you. It's Ms. Walford who's pushing me to get this done."

Hayden frowned and wondered to himself, 'Does she really want to cut ties with me like this?'

After a long pause, Hayden finally spoke up and said, "Tell her that if she wants the divorce agreement, she can come and get it herself."

"Mr. Hamilton, I don't think that's—"

But before Nathan could finish his sentence, Hayden abruptly hung up the phone. Nathan listened to the busy tone on the other end and wiped the sweat from his forehead. After taking a moment to compose himself, he called Wyneth back, feeling frustrated that he had been reduced to such a submissive and meek state by a simple divorce agreement. As a member of a top professional law firm, he couldn't believe that he was struggling with this task.
