I opened my eyes when I heard the man gasping. When my eyes met his, he had a look of awe in his eye. I looked to check if he was okay.

“Hey? Do you still feel any kind of pain?”

I asked. He answered by taking off one of the bandages and showing me completely flawless skin. It was my turn to let out a gasp. I stepped aside when he tried to get out of the bed and heard a couple of more gasps from the others in the room. The room soon erupted in murmurs. I knew why. They each wanted to be the next. My eyes went to Bernardo who stood in the corner to give me space to do my thing and he had a proud look which made my heart swell.

It still felt surreal but I was really doing this. I didn’t know the first about being a healer but I was healing the members of my pack. I walked to the man next to the one I just healed. His injuries were less than the others. I placed my hand on him and closed my eyes. Once again. I was greeted with a vision. He was fighting too. two bears this time
