"Where are you guys going?" I asked Amanah as she held Armi and Auri's hands. They were dressed in matching pink sun dresses and Amanah wore a cute hat while the twins rocked pink bow hair pins.
"We're going on a girls date," Amanah said as she smiled. "We're just waiting on Maniah.""Alright, let me get my keys and we'll go together," I said as I pointed to the kitchen and the girls voiced out their opinions."No, no, no, no, no, no," Auri shook her head as she waved her small hands."You stay right here," Armi warned as she pointed a finger at me."It's a girls date dad," Maniah said as she passed me, unlike the three, she wore jeans and an oversized hoodie."What are you wearing?" Her mother asked as she took in her attire. "I thought we agreed on wearing sun dresses?""No, the three of you agreed on wearing pink clothes and I agreed on coming along," Maniah shrugged as she raised her book. Amanah pouted and rolleI wiped the counter despite being annoyed by my job today. On all the days that this bar could be full, it chose today and wasn’t even by my regular well-mannered customers, it was a bunch of college kids and all they could do was make a bunch of noise and spill their drinks all over my counter. My counter!“You should plaster a smile on that face, Amanah,” I stared at my boss, Frank with an annoyed look and he laughed as he flipped the cocktail shaker in the air and caught it with his right hand behind his back, psshh show off. “You might murder someone.”“Yeah, and that someone might be you,” I said, and he smiled, pouring the drink into the glass and winking at the girls that were watching him; they swooned. A cocky smile grew on his clean face. Argh, so annoying!I was not used to seeing Frank without his beard, he didn’t look bad, but he definitely looked so different without it. He almost looked…younger. I continued wiping the counter, and I looked outside, counting the hours to
“Where?” I whispered looking around my surroundings, where the hell am I? There were people behind the woman who was standing in front of me, they were seated as if they were part of a council of some sort.“Nioz my child,” she said still smiling and my smile slowly grew as I stared at her, I chuckled and scratched my head.“It’s either I am dead or I am dreaming, because I don’t know who you are and where I am,” I said and she shook her head smiling.“You are in Nioz, a planet in a different realm than the one you’re from, Earth I believe it is called,” she explained and that had me convinced she was crazy. I laughed and clapped my hands.“Did Frank break into my apartment and take me into an asylum because I was seeing black butterflies?” I asked the woman, she was wearing a red long dress that reached her feet, her black hair was tied in such an elegant manner that made me believe she had some supremacy aura coming from her. Her eyes were a light shade of purple, and her kind smile
“Don’t scare the girl Miall, show her around her new home,” my mother said and Amanah still looked shocked at what she had heard. “Wait, will I really be pregnant for six months only?” “Well, for only five now, so your time is almost up,” I said, crossing my arms over my shoulder and my mom slapped my head. “What did you do that for!” I yelped and she ground her teeth together. “I said stop scaring the girl,” she said in a low voice glaring at me. “Last I checked, I was the Alpha of this pack,” I grumbled rubbing my head, it didn’t hurt but it did sting. My mother raised her eyebrow at me and said, “Alpha to who?” That scary face was replaced with a kind smile as she looked at Amanah. “We don’t know for sure yet, since this is the first time it’s happened in our pack.” “Oh,” she said softly and a smirk grew on her face. “That would still be enough time for me either way,” she said. “I’ve heard that pregnancy isn’t so kind on people,” she whispered to my mom and they giggled t
Once I was sure Miall had left the house, I left that dry ass room for his spacious room. I took a shower in his bathroom and graciously borrowed a shirt of his. Feeling clean and refreshed, I went to get something to eat from his kitchen. Which was a huge mistake because I had no idea what all this was, his freezer was mostly stocked with red meat, but I had no idea what animal that came from, as a matter of fact, I had no idea what any item in this fridge came from. I certainly didn’t trust the milk because what fucking animal was this on the packaging? I opened up his cabinet drawers and found something that I was a hundred percent sure was from earth. He had all sorts of snacks that I was very familiar with and thank goodness it was still good and hadn’t expired yet. I grabbed what I could and contemplated pouring a glass of water, but then again, the lake was purple. I climbed up the stairs with my arms filled with snacks, I kicked open his bedroom door, well my new bedroom
I woke up alone in the bed and as much as I hate to admit it, I kind of thought I'd find Miall next to me but he wasn't. With a shrug, I got off the big bed and made my way downstairs after doing half of my morning routine, which was the hygiene bit.I still needed a whole lot of stuff of mine, I wasn't so sure if it was available on this planet, it probably might be advanced but who knew? On my way to asking Miall millions of questions, I heard talking. I am not a wolf or anything superb, but I do have good hearing, and I know that sounds like a woman giggling in the kitchen.I slowly walked into the kitchen and none of them acknowledged me as they talked to each other with stupid smiles plastered on their faces. Miall was shirtless and looked rested, the woman had dark hair, and a very athletic figure, either she worked hard for it or, that is how it is like for every woman here.Walking closer to them I listened in more on their conversation, she said something about not seeing him
I walked into the packhouse with Willow hand in hand when I heard laughter coming from the kitchen. Entering the kitchen, I found my mother, Malakhi and Amanah having a blast together. Amanah looked very different from when she left the house. She was now wearing a large hoodie and a pair of tights. She sat next to Malakhi facing my mother as she talked to them."Oh, hi there," my mother said sweetly, raising her mug to her lips. "I'm going to kill you," she said through the mind link and I smiled waving my hand."Hi everyone," I said and Amanah just stared at us before she turned back around to face my mother."Hey," Malakhi said, nodding and facing away as well."Oh come on, don't tell me you're mad too?" I asked him through the link."Extremely," he said."You don't even know the whole story," I said and he turned around to face me again and shook his head."Don't need to.""So Ma, what were you saying about the tea?" Amanah asked my mother and I cocked my head to the side."Since
"This is your place?" Malakhi asked as he looked around my small apartment. "It's tiny," he said and I threw a toss pillow at him."Not all of us are friends with royalty," I said and Malakhi laughed. "Now help me pack," I said as I stood on my toes trying to reach for my bag, but of course with the help of Malakhi, I was handed my bag with ease."Do you promise to show me around once we're done?" He asked with a puppy dog look and I rolled my eyes pushing him away from me."Only if you help me, which you are not doing," I said as I took out my clothes from the closet and he chuckled as he helped me pack up some stuff.Malakhi was a pretty funny person or wolf should I say. After he found me crying outside, which was very dramatic of me, he took me to the Pack House, where Nyleve was currently living. She was kind enough to give me her hoodie and pants. While we sat together, basically they made me feel better after the whole happening with Miall and his girlfriend, whose name I now k
“Hi Malakhi,” he waved before turning his head back at me. “Amanah, you’ve been gone for a whole week! Without texting me, calling or emailing me! Do you have any idea how worried I was?”“It can’t be a week, I’m pretty sure I saw you just yesterday when you let me knock off early,” I said and Frank looked surprised. “Are you sure you’re okay?” I asked as I put my hand on his forehead.“I’m too sober for this,” he said, raising his hands as he walked towards the bar. “She’s been gone a week and then asks if I’m okay,” he muttered. Malakhi tapped on my shoulder and I turned to look at him.“Time works differently on Nioz, you have been gone for an entire week Ama,” he said softly and I was shocked.“Frank,” I tried as I walked closer to the bar. “Do you need me to work for the rest of the night?” I asked, leaning against the counter.“No, it’s alright. I was about to close up anyway,” he said and I smiled, cocking my head.“Are you angry at me?” I asked softly and he pouted looking awa
