CHAPTER 91 Like Father, Like Son

  "Mama, are you sure you're not coming with us?" Chloe tried to convince her mom to tag along to Switzerland, but her mom was firm with her decision.

  "My daughter, this is my home, there's no place I'd rather be on my deathbed than here," she even made a strong argument.

  "Please don't say that. You have a long way to go," Chloe cried.

  "I know. That's why I'll patiently wait for your return," her mom smiled as she waved her last goodbye, "Go on, now. You don't want to be late for the flight."

  Aiden, who had been crying for hours, could no longer speak. He kept on holding Nana's pants. He was happy to be with his great-grandfather, but it's no question that he will miss his Nana, "Please go with us, Nana. Please. Please."

  He wouldn't let go until Chloe had to snatch him away from his Nana, "We have to go, little turbo. I promise we will visit Nana as often as we can."

  But her words of encouragement meant nothing against a young boy's heart grieving from being apart.
