Chapter 44: Vindictive
Months passed with the two enjoying one another's company. Along the journey, Lucifer had started to develop feelings for Rogue or as she knew him, Escliffe.
To Lucifer, Rogue was the most handsome man she ever met, he was kind, compassionate and very protective. All those attributes made Lucifer fall more and more for Rogue, she knew her feelings well but she wanted to enjoy their moment without ruining anything between them.
As for Rogue, he took understood that he liked Lucifer, he would stare at her whenever she's not watching. To him Lucifer was, intelligent, beautiful, strong and kind, and he vowed to do everything in his power to protect her even if it meant he becomes over protective.
Rogue was staring at the midnight sky with a smile when he noticed Lucifer coming up to him, he gathered his courage and stood up meeting her halfway. He smiled and looked her in the eyes, drinking in their gleam.
