Chapter 39

Lance POV

Eloise was about to leave the house when I came in. There wasn't much to do at the alpha's today. My mind had been on Olivia and how she was doing all day.

"How did it go?" I asked her.

"It didn't go well. She refused to talk but I'll still try again another day." She said. I breathed heavily, not from relief though.

"Do you think we should involve medical experts in this?" I asked her.

"Not everything needs medical aid. What do you think the doctors would be able to do?"

She was right. I had no answer to what extent the doctors could go in finding a solution to my wife's predicament. I was just desperate in trying an external means.

An idea came into my mind and I spoke to Eloise about it.

"How about you stay here for some days? She may not want to talk to you about anything now but I think if you are always around and you keep pressing on her to open up, she will."
