Frey I recalled the flashes of what happened last night and the new level of magic I had manifested to protect myself. My eyes fluttered open, and I glimpsed the clump of trees ahead of me. GrainneThe morning sun splashed through the skies, peeling into the courtroom through the transparent windows. It wasn't news that I had taken over the pack with Regan and the wolf shifters. LoganWe emerged from the tree line down to the roadway, with Alex still holding onto my feeble frame. The clouds had taken their dark blue color, and we had to find a place to rest for the night. But that wasn't an option for my Gamma. He had to get me to the Rogue's Pack because staying out here for too long would only weaken me and leave me as a dead weight. Frey I felt a sharp pain travel from my pelvic region, and a groan escaped my lips, getting Shannon’s attention. She watched me and I chuckled nervously. “It’s ok. Logan Was this what it felt like to be a dad? When I held my sons, I felt pride, joy, inexplicable love for these little minions who hadn't let me sleep in days. I loved them even more than I could imagine no matter how tiny they were; they were still so beautiful. The primal instinct I had was to protect and make this world a better place for them. Cautioning Frey about the hound attack, I moved to my weapon compartment and pulled out a crossbow and a quiver of arrows. I emerged through the entrance of the pack house and met three ragged wolves that were approaching. I shot the first wolf and the second and third plummeted toward me. My fur tore through my body and I leapt toward them, shifting into a large black furred wolf. We stumbled down the stairs, and I landed a heavy blow at the other wolf's jugular.
