Nathaniel stared awake due to the sound coming out from his phone. He sat up on the bed and rubbed his eyes, he further searched for his phone and he found it on the table beside the bed.
He picked the call up. "Hello dad, mom is not home yet." Kendrick spoke from the other side.
"What? Really?" Nathaniel asked standing up.
"Yes, she texted me last night and told me she wouldn't be back because she had something urgent to do at work. We have been waiting for her these morning but she hasn't returned. This is 7." Kendrick informed.
"Oh," he ohed and looked up at the wall clock.
"I'll drive to her company alright? There is no need for you to worry too much. I'm sure she's okay." Nathaniel assured.
