I had accomplished my mission with the Slaters but I still bit my lips, feeling things could have gone better. Things went the way I planned because of Jennifer.

I knew Jennifer Slater would not take a liking to me. In the past life, despite how minimal our interactions were, she did not like me. She made it her mission to try to isolate me. She was the forerunner in April’s support group but rather than being a friend of April, she was only using April to get to me.
