The Offer

"I believe you've fulfilled your role as a gentle," I muttered as I tried to restrain my anger.

"Whoever said I was a gentleman?"He retorted.

" Are you for real?"

"Do I love like a joker love? you know what's really suspicious is why you were being chased by those men, perhaps you could share "

I was bereft of words, I opened my mouth to protest but I couldn't say a word.

He turned his head to me, with his hands folded as he leaned on the monocycle like he had the whole time in the world to spare.

"Look, if I wanted to hurt you, I would have done that a long time ago."

'Right, and you expect me to believe that' I wanted to say to him but I reframed from doing so, I just shifted my gaze away from him, turning my back to him as I fiddled through my pockets for my phone.

I wanted to call the police perhaps if he saw how I was serious he would listen to me.

But before I could dial the number I heard his voice from behind me.

"Time to go, sweetheart, I hailed a cab for Ya"
