I gave Chad another phone call when I accepted their request. I had thought deep about it and it made no sense for me to drive back to the hospital especially considering how far it was from my house.
"Hi, sorry, are you still with Chad?" I called through the phone when his mother picked up.
"I am, dear, are you on your way yet?" She wondered, probably thinking about why I had called back so soon.
"No, no." I shook my head. "In fact, I called to... let me speak to Chad please."
"Okay." She said and I heard a few strides in the background before she put me on the phone with Chad.
"Hey, okay, first, nothing gives you the right to call my mother when you feel like it." He began. Rude much?
I rolled my eyes at him and heaved a sigh.
"Look, I'm not calling your mom for any special reason whatsoever. I wanted to talk to you." I scoffed. He thought he had t
I closed my eyes, unable to process the right emotion to feel. Before I could mentally catch up with the fact that he had just kissed me, his hands trailed from my face to my waist. He withdrew his lips from mine so I could catch up with breathing. He buried his face in my neck and kissed it softly. His face continued downwards and he buried it between my chest.
I moved to my left and squeezed myself the huge sized 'pillow' lying beside me. It felt so comfortable and I knew I didn't want to get up for any reason whatsoever. In my subconscious state, I remembered that I wasn't home, and that the pillow was none other than Chad. I snapped my eyes open and sat up instantly.
I shook him in fear. Although I hadn't done anything to him, I knew I was the only one taunting a sick man and if anyone found out what had happened, they would have me to blame for his accident. "You have to wake up!" I shook his shoulders even tougher than before. "Come on, you can't be so stupid!" I frowned.
As I ran up the stairs, I Iooked over my shoulder just in time to find Chad holding Rebecca down. Like I had suspected, she had attempted to run after me and was scowling like a wind beast. "Let me go Chad, I'm going to kill her, I have to kill her!"
“Where are you going?” Chad had the audacity to ask as he followed behind me while I headed down the steps. I glared at him and shook my head at his sense of humour. He must have thought of me as more of a dummy than I had expected.
“Do you mean to ask if we make accomodative provisions for the staff?” He clarified my question. “Yes.” I stood to my feet and crossed my hands across my chest. I certainly didn't want to stay here and if he said they didn’t, there was certainly no way I could fford having to pay rent for a new place at
"Chad? What are you doing here?" A part of me wanted to pull him into a higand squeeze him tight just to tellhim how much I missed him during the entire thing but that part was only about ten percent of me.I frowned and furrowed my eyebrows at him, waiting for a reasonable explanation of any sort.
Chad pulled away from me and I couldn't help how embarrassed I was by everything. He had gone ahead go kiss me in public, without caring that people could see us.He still had his hands on my waist when he stared directly into my eyes, "let's go somewhere private to talk, I brought my car."
