While Maxwell was still trying to take a hold of his thoughts over the suspicion that was running riot in his head, Celine was losing her cool. Her face turned from a bright smile to a contorted one. It was too much for her to bear.

Richard heaved a heavy breath and dropped his fork. "Baby, why are you talking as if it's something bad. It's for our own good. You should be happy for me.":

Celine shot up to her feet and drew a long sigh. "You are an asshole, Richard! Thank you for ruining the morning."

In anger, she bolted out of the dining room. Maxwell still said nothing. The whole thing was just going round his brain in search of a possible explanation to all the scenarios. His eyes were fixed on his brother. The very same words he had heard through the phone were in full play.
