Amelia's Point of View:

The next morning, Dad and Ace woke me up, saying we had to get ready for a dinner date with Lucie's family.

Was I happy? No! I hate dates, especially fancy ones.

"Do I have to wear a dress?" I asked my dad and my brother, who were in my room looking for a dress for me to wear, but the thing is, I had none.

My uncle hates dresses or short outfits, and he didn't want his bodyguards staring at me, so I had to burn all of them. I cried that day.

"I thought you loved dresses, mi love. What happened to all of them?" Dad asked with a frown before walking towards my chair.

"Well, your brother burnt all of them. He didn't like them and said it makes you look and feel like a girly girl, so he didn't want that from me," I replied with a smile.

Dad shook his head before letting out a breath. "You and your brother need to go to the mall and get a dress. This dinner is really important, Amelia," he said.
