Dario’s POV

I couldn’t stop thinking about the reason why Isla’s grandfather had called, my mind was a mess as I navigated my car down the road. Did he want to discuss what we had talked about before or was it something more?

I increased the speed in which I drove, and when I finally arrived at the mansion, I didn’t hesitate to step down from the car.

As I hurriedly walked to the entrance, I noticed that there were other cars parked outside. Pulling my eyes away, I stepped into the house, and my eyes landed on Isla’s grandfather, Diane’s parents and Isla’s grandfather's second son. Diane was also standing by their side.

I could feel the tension in the air, as I moved close to them.

“You have finally arrived.” Isla’s grandfather said with a lot of edginess in his voice.

“We have been waiting for you!”
