Searching for the Job

Anyhow, Arien decided to listen aunt Anne and stayed at the house. However after staying in her room for almost two hours she got bored and decided to go and have a look in the interiors of the house. Since she was not well for the whole time she had stayed here, she didn't get the time to go around. Today she was so bored.

She walked out of her room. Just beside her room there was Devian's study. She hesitated for a while and then entered. The first thing she saw was a photo on the wall.

"Why does he always put on such a cold face. Can't he smile a little." Arien thought while looking at Devian's photo on the wall.

"No doubt he's handsome, but who will think that such a handsome guy will have such a cold attitude!...sigh!"

In the Visight Innovative Tech, CEO's office 21st floor, staring and observing every move of Arien, there was a smile in Devian's cold eyes.

There was a pinhole camera installed in the rooms of Lyle mansion. It was used for security purposes but today Devian could observe every move of her easily. He stretched out his hand towards the computer screen only to know that he could watch this girl by a screen. She didn't like him. Isn't it?

"Director, we have found the new updates about him. He is in California with his wife. His son has not contacted him for a long time. We can say that he is avoiding contacting them so as to not let anyone know about them." Assistant Dean entered and reported the matter.

"Keep a close eye on him." Devian spoke on a cold voice without lifting his head.

Dean didn't know why his master was punishing him like this."Yes" He was scared and thus walked out of the office as fast as he can. As soon as he came out Dean let out a long sigh.

Devian's eyes were stilled fixed to the computer screen. "Let me see how you can run away from me!" He smiled evilly yet his face was charming.

After a whole boring day, Arien sat on the dining table. Opposite to her was Devian sitting and eating his meal elegantly. He didn't make a sound but, on the other side, Arien was having trouble in cutting the steamed chicken. Devian passed his plate to her "You eat first."

"Thank you, Director Lyle." Arien sincerely expressed her gratitude.

"Director Lyle?" Sure enough Devian was dissatisfied with her calling him this. "Just call me Devian, you don't need to be too polite to me. I have already seen you shouting at me, weren't you?" Devian said.

"Cold blooded, pervert" she muttered in her heart.

They ate silently. Nobody spoke a word. The surrounding was calm and harmonious.

After eating Arien went to the room, took a shower and slept. Today she would not do anything that would affect her health. She has to find a job so that she would earn and pay the money and leave this place.

Next day as she woke up aunt Anne bought her dress.

She got ready had breakfast with Devian and left the house after him.

She walked into many companies but didn't get a suitable job for herself.

At last she entered a building with a big board 'The Blooms Company'. As she stepped in and walked towards the reception, she saw a girl, almost the same age as her, running towards her with a big bright smile on her face.

"Oh Arien! I missed you so much! How dare you change your number without informing me? Are you trying to scare me to death. First you didn't tell me about your return and then changed your number. You know how terrible my situation was without you?"

The lady gave her a big hug and said all this in just one go!

"Wh.... Who?"

"Girl! You dare say that you don't remember me after staying away for just a year!"

She hugged Arien even hard as if she would break her bones!
