Bitter and Brutal

Todd just died? But she didn't pull the trigger...then who did? Gulping, Jennifer studied the lifeless body that lay in front of her.

The sight of Todd's motionless body made her gag. Todd was lying on his back, with his eyes wide open, and his face suddenly drained of colour. No signs of life were in him. It was a quick kill. She noticed that the blood was pooling underneath his head but the wound wasn't visible. Which could mean that he was shot on the back of his head. 

She looked around frantically and spotted Frank at the stairs. However, he wasn't holding a gun. He too was staring bewildered. 

Just then, Frank's father stepped forward from behind. 

"I told you, Todd was mine to kill," he said. 

"Dad?" Frank was shocked to see his father.

"I heard what Mike told you. So I followed you upstairs. Didn't you realise that I was following you?" He smirked.
