Tonight was the longest and most nerve-racking night I had ever spent in my life. I couldn’t fathom the lie I told yesterday to Brian at Nathan’s office, and here we were finalizing the date of our engagement.
After Brian left, Nathan’s office suddenly without saying anything to me, I was a mess. My heart got flustered and was on the edge all night. I couldn’t think of anything straight.
