"It is not too late, Dede. I promise to love and protect you. Ask him for a divorce and come with me," Alex suggested and Dede's eyes widened.

"Since the day I felt hurt and couldn't look after you any more, how well did Mr Adams protect you?" Alex asked and Dede searched her memory.
