Chapter 12: Narrow Escape

The security men proceeded immediately towards the presidential suite to confirm what the receptionist had reported. Two men strode into the room and found someone lying face down in a pool of blood. The first person walked past the body and looked around. The second person checked the body after taking some pictures first.

"Who was using this room?" he asked after checking the body.

"A young lady," replied the receptionist who was standing at the entrance trembling.

"Where is she?" the man asked.

"I don't know," the receptionist replied.

"No sign of forced entry and nothing was stolen. This is not a theft case. Looks like an attack," the other security man said.

"I think we should inform Mr Adams ASAP and bring in the police," he continued.

"This man lying here looks suspicious," the security man who checked the body said and flipped the body over.
