Pretending to End Life

Rachel's POV

I was upset, I was angry. Really angry that my husband still cared about his past. I even ran and kept running upstairs. I didn't care that he was shouting my name at the end of the hallway, while I had reached the middle of the stairs.

My tears even fell heavily, which I occasionally brushed away with the back of my hand so as not to block the view.

“Luna Rachel!” Alpha Edmond shouted back loudly. His footsteps could even be heard echoing loudly which of course came from his expensive loafers as they clashed with the granite floor.

“Luna Rachel!” he shouted again. But I just ignored her even more because her treatment was too painful.

Even in my worst moment when I had just lost our future child, he was busy thinking about a woman I refused to name. I could feel it, once again a woman's instinct.

''Then, what am I to him, if he behaves like that?” my mind screamed in anguish.
