Chapter 18

The door opened in an instant!

Standing behind the food was Tony.

He looked down and saw the triplets as he showed a confused expression. "Oh, it's you, kiddos. What's the matter?"

"Is Uncle Handsome in?" Alex looked up and asked straight to the point.

'Uncle Handsome?' Tony wondered.

He paused for a while before realizing that they were talking about his boss. "Yes, he is."

"What's going on?"

Right after Tony responded, Sean's deep and attractive voice rang behind Tony.

Sean had heard the commotion and directed his wheelchair in their direction to see what was happening.

The triplets all tilted their head past Tony to look at Sean. Their eyes twinkled as they walked in a straight line and bowed to Sean.

Both Sean and Tony were confused by their actions.

Sean arched his brows slightly.

Alex pursed his lips gently and puffed his rosy cheeks as he said seriously, "Sorry, Uncle Handsome! We would like to apologize for the misunderstanding earlier on. We're the ones who took your luggage by accident back to the airport. We're very sorry for the misunderstanding caused by my sister following you back. We hope you can forgive us, Uncle Handsome."

Ben and Claudia nodded hard as they apologized as well. "Sorry!"

The triplets looked sincere while they were speaking adorably, which created an endearing contrast.

Sean could not help but smile as he found it amusing, his thin lips moving as he spoke flatly, "It's all in the past. I'm not a petty person."

His temper was not bad to the point where he would argue with a couple of kids.

After listening to Sean's response, the triplets let out a sigh of relief as they calmed themselves down.

Claudia smiled through her eyes, looking exactly like a snowy white rabbit, and said, "I knew it. You're a good-looking, nice man, Uncle Handsome. You definitely won't find trouble with kids like us."

"A big-hearted man is the most attractive!" Ben nodded as he chimed in.

Tony stood next to them as he listened with delight.

Though there were conflicts between them before, the triplets were too adorable!

They were cute, outgoing, and proper. Most importantly, they were not afraid of Sean, who was known for being unapproachable. Never mind the little kids, even the adults could not withstand his strong presence, let alone approach him.

Sean was entertained as well, and he asked with a smile, "What brings you here? You wouldn't come here just to praise me, right?"

Alex nodded slightly and expressed their motive, "We're here to invite you over to eat with us at our place, Mister. After all, we'll be neighbors from now on. Since we're going to see each other every day, let's not hold any grudges against each other!"

Alex looked serious as he spoke.

Sean could not bring himself to reject them, so he hesitated for a while before he responded, "Go back home first. I'll be there later."

When the triplets heard his answer, they widened their eyes a little, and their expression was filled with glee. Though they were acting like adults, they were still children, so their faces told everything. When they like someone, it will be written all over their expression. It seemed like they really wanted Sean to show up.

Sean was elated when he sensed it.

"We'll wait for you then! You're in luck, Mister. My mommy is the best chef ever!" Ben grinned widely.

Sean smiled as the look in his eyes softened.

Hand in hand, the triplets then skedaddled back to their house happily.

After they left, Sean ordered Tony faintly, "Since we're going as guests, we should bring a few gifts. Go get some and bring them over."

"Sure!" Tony nodded as he responded.
