Lessia's POV

As I walked out of the building, the feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction engulfed my being. I could smell the disdainful surprise on that saucy receptionist as I walked past him. I could tell he did not expect to see me beautifully dressed in the level of confidence I waxed in as I left. It was so obvious he expected to see a broken and downcast woman different from the one that had walked in just moments earlier. That only heightened my pride and the self fulfillment I was already acquainted with.

I knew they were all shocked to see me representing kian, because according to their Logic, women shouldn’t be involved in politics. However, I had learnt so much from Kian in so little time.
