Ava sat up and was breathing heavily, she couldn't believe her ears and how Grace felt for her. She didn't know how to react. She felt a strange pain in her heart as she heard Grace cry in front of her and when she said that she fell in love with her a part of her seemed to be happy but she didn't know why. She stood up and walked out of her tent, looked around but Grace was nowhere to be seen.
"You looking for her?" Emily asked and walked from behind the tent. She was there the whole time for she wanted to tell Ava how Grace felt but Grace herself confessed everything but gave up in the end and ran away.
"Where's she?" Ava asked desperately.
"What are you gonna do? Find her and then what? You aren't planning to give her an answer at all right?" Emily asked her and stepped closer to her.
"Just tell me where's she!" Ava almost shouted.
"I'm not going to until you answer my questions," Emily said and was damn serious at that point.
"I don't kn
"I love you, my dear princess," Ava said and pecked on Grace's lips. Grace smiled softly and placed her lips on hers. Ava smirked and kissed her back, her arms snaked around her waist and the kiss became passionate within a second. She pulled away after a few moments and Grace was catching her breath. "You're so cute, Grace." She said and pecked on her cheek."How are you so straight forward?" Grace asked and her face was flushed."I'm just excited now that I'm with you," Ava said and patted her head."So are we dating?" Grace asked hesitantly and looked at her slowly."What do you think?" Ava asked her and was trying to hold back her smile."I... I don't know." Grace got discouraged."Of course we are baby," Ava said and smiled at her softly. Grace smiled and hugged her tightly."Do you love me so much?" Ava asked when she saw tears on the corner of her eyes."I've liked you for two freaking years with no hope of being l
The dark blue sky started to turn orange and the rays of the sun fell on their face. The birds started chirping and the clouds from the sky moved away. The bonfire had burnt down and a little smoke was blowing out of the ashes, disappearing after some height. Ava was sitting by the bonfire and Grace was sitting beside her, her head resting on Ava's shoulder, whose arm was around her shoulder. They both had a blanket around themselves."It's so pretty," Grace said and snuggled closer to her."Not more than you," Aav said and smiled."I never thought you would be so cheesy," Grace commented and Ava shrugged."I just love complimenting you," Ava said and hugged her tighter. "Are you happy?" Ava asked her and she nodded like a little child which made Ava laughed.Emily woke up and heard some noises from outside. She recognized those two voices immediately and ran out of her tent with a blanket in her hand. She saw them sitting by the bonfire and smiled
They all sat by the burnt-out fireplace, for some time after they had finished their breakfast and then started packing up for they were planning to leave that place soon to continue their trekking adventure after all they only had a day and a half left."Grace, are you done?" Ava asked her and sat closer to her. Grace was packing both of their bags for she was the organized one between them."Yeah almost." She replied and smiled at her."Good," Ava said with a mischevious smirk spread all over her face. She came closer to Grace and wrapped her arms around her waist. Grace was a little uncomfortable but just tried to go with the flow but then she heard the sound of someone's footsteps. She panicked and pushed Ava away, her head banged on the metal bar a little as she was thrown behind."Ouch!" Ava hissed in pain."I...I'm so sorry," Grace said and crawled closer to her."Hey, what are you guys doing?" Elijah asked and crept his head into the
The sun rose and the light entered their rooms through the huge glass window, making Grace cover her eyes with the blanket, while Ava loved it. Ava slowly opened her eyes and a smile formed on her face seeing the clear the sky and the bright sunlight. She turned over and looked at Grace who had covered her face with the blanket, hiding away from the light."Good morning, baby..." Ava said and snuggled close to her and tried to pull the blanket from her face to look at it."What the hell are you doing?" Grace asked and held the blanket tight. "It so freaking bright!" She complained."Isn't it good?" Ava asked in confusion."I hate it!" She shouted and pulled the blanket back."Ok, my little vampire," Ava said and hugged her. "What do you wanna do?" She whispered in her ear."I don't know," Grace replied and looked at her slowly and started thinking for a second. "Can you tell me about your family?" Grace asked hesitantly after some time and A
Grace was walking around the museum when she felt as if someone was watching her, she ignored this feeling but couldn't get rid of it. She looked back when the strange feeling didn't stop to clarify but didn't find anything suspicious in that room. She kept walking and got the same feeling again after some time, she looked back again and it seemed that someone was indeed watching her and had just hidden behind the wall for she saw someone's head creep behind the wall, into the other side of the museum. She had a bad feeling about it but gathered her courage to look once. She walked in that direction and her heartbeat increased with each step, anxiety took over her and she was nervous about who could it be and if something bad was about to happen. She looked behind the wall and there was no one, she sighed in relief and was about to turn back when she saw a sticky note on the wall. Her heart skipped a beat, she slowly got it off and looked at it.It said, "It's g
Grace left the cafe and was kinda relieved after letting out all her feelings in front of someone who understood her and gave her a little encouragement to tell Ava everything. Yara was right that if she loved her then she would understand her and help her move on from her past. Grace took a deep breath and was finally thinking of telling Ava the truth, she was ready to stop running away from her fear, the things that hurt her the most. She started walking towards the taxi and asked the driver to go back to the museum. She texted Ava on the way, asking her where she was but didn't get a reply even after it was marked seen so she texted Emily. Emily replied after a few minutes and told her that they were back at the hotel for they couldn't find her at the museum.Grace was kinda nervous after knowing that; she thought that Ava would be angry but still wished that she'd understand her reasons when she told her everything. She plugged in her earphones and started listenin
Grace flinched as the door slammed shut and didn't move at all for a few seconds. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up, the room was spinning in her eyes. She felt uncomfortable but there was nothing she could do about it. She laid her head on the floor and closed her eyes tightly, her hands still gripping on her arms tightly. But now it was even worse. She started remembering her past, all those horrible moments started revolving in her head- her step-mother beating her, Yara leaving her alone, her classmates bullying her, her principal scolding her and suspending her from school, and her father beating and her in a dark room, crying her eyes out. She remembered the past and tears started falling down her eyes but she didn't let any sound escape from her mouth. She was trembling and was breathing hard, taking deep breaths. Her eyes were red from all that crying and her arms were bruised as usual. She heard footsteps outside the door and flinched. She got up and started w
Grace was sitting in the bathroom, leaning against the door, staring at the floor. Her eyes were blank and there was no emotion visible in them just like on her face. She wasn't shaking anymore and her heartbeat was a lot more stable now. There was complete silence and no movement outside. She had been motionless for a long time and then slowly looked up. The room was a complete mess, all the bottles were on the floor and there was a small crack on the mirror. She stood up and stared at her reflection again. Her hair was messy, clothes ruffled and eyes blank. Her arms and legs were bruised, a little blood was stuck in her nails and her eyes were red and were dried out from all that crying. Her lips moved a bit but no words came out.She took off her clothes slowly and as she stood in front of the mirror again, she noticed that there were faded bruises on her body as well which Ava didn't notice earlier because of the dark. She turned on the shower and washed up. She wo
