Chapter 24

Gwen took a deep breath as she held her mother's hand with a sad expression on her face. She knows that her mum won't like what she is about to say but she wouldn't change her mind.

" I want us to move out of here, where your husband won't be able to find us," Gwen said but her looks could tell that she was lying.

" I'm your mum and I can tell that you are not telling the truth. Why are we leaving this apartment? " Gwen's mum replied with a concerned expression.

" I will resign from my job tomorrow and I don't want any of my co-workers to know where I stay. That's the truth and I'm not lying, I want my privacy " Gwen replied. She pouted her mouth like a spoiled child.
