Episode 4

**

After the third glass, Lana was dragged by her friends to the dance floor. Apparently, she was 6'5 ft tall with a curvaceous body which made it almost impossible for people not to sneak a glance at her. 

Her dark brown eyes, sparkled in the dimly lit room as her favorite song came up.

Looking at the woman on the dance floor, with all those, lust filled eyes looking at her. he so much wished to blind those eyes that gazed at her that way. The woman that set his heart beating and his being filled with emotions for her. No wonder, he couldn't find her, she was the daughter of the Lang's and she did a good job disguising herself back then.

It's been three years my love, I won't let you slip from my fingers this time. This time, I'll make you mine!

Laughing crazily, Lana kept twirling around, giggling like a little kid when she came crashing on a warm chest. A firm hand wrapped around her waist to keep her steady, 

"hehehe.... Are you an angel? Perhaps, a man sent from above just for me." Smiling cutely, her eyebrows raised seductively, making the star-like mole underneath her right eye more pronounced. Pouting, she continued with a false bravery,

"Uhm handsome do you want to marry me? Don't worry, I promise, you won't lack a-anything, I-I will take care of you. Hmmm don't they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Don't worry, I can cook and I will shower you with delicious food," Lana said slurring.

"Ehn..." the man replied, eyes sparkling with mirth.

Tip toeing, she stood wrapping her little hands around his neck bringing their face closer, she gave him a kiss on the lip. "Hehehe I've marked you. You're officially mine, husband!" She said giggling foolishly in his arms.

Dragging the woman in his arms, he took her to his car. Opening the cabinet, he brought out a file and gave it to her. smiling seductively, he whispered, "don't you want me to be your Husband? Then sign this and I'm all yours." Leaning close, he squinted his eyes in satisfaction with a smirk on his lips.

And just like that, Lana gave up her single life, unknowingly bound herself in a marriage with an indefinite future.

Looking at the sleeping woman in his arms, the man smiled, caressing her soft cheeks lovingly. With a gentle whisper, he leaned to her ear, "You're now, mine Red. I won't let any harm come your way, I promise..."

               PRESENT

Lana drove to her apartment. Upon seeing the lights on, 'maybe he is home,' she thought with a shrug. But was soon consume by nervousness when she was about to open the door, 'how will I face him now?' she thought pushing open the door.

Seeing no one around, she walked quietly to the stairs. Just when her legs were about to graze the third steps, she heard a voice behind her.

"Young Miss, you are back."

Almost jumping out of her skin, she turned slowly, "Oh! My goodness, Auntie, you scared me. I thought I told you not to call me that, Auntie, and besides why did you come back so soon. What about Vivian and the baby?" Lana said to her nanny. Nanny Wang had to visit her daughter as she was due to give birth. 

Although, Nanny Wang had a 25, year-old daughter, which was clearly 3 years older than herself. Staying with her for years now, Nanny Wang, has always treated her like a daughter with the love and care of a mother.

"sorry my dear, I didn't mean to startle you" Nanny Wang said with a concern look. "And Vivian is fine, the baby is healthy too. She asked me to greet you. You should visit her some time." 

"Yes Auntie, I will. Right now, I just want to take a nice bath and eat something prepared by you." Lana said tiredly. Remembering something, she uneasily asked, "Uh Auntie, did you see anybody?" she squirms at the teasing look on Nanny Wang's face. 

"You don't have to be shy my dear, but you could have told me sooner that you had a sweetheart," she answered chuckling. "don't worry, he just went out. But he left you a message though, 'don't wait too long for me my love, I'll be back soon'." She said with a quote.

Turning with a red face, Lana ran to her room, closing the door behind with a loud bang. 'Ahhh! Who is going to wait for you, hmmpf shameless man.' she screamed into her pillow, standing up she stripped out of her clothes and walked into the bathroom, with a towel wrapped round her body.
