Chapter Seven.

Melanie's Pov.

I was hungry since I haven't eaten anything this morning, I thought of preparing something for myself.

I went downstairs as I didn't meet Eveth there, I guess she went out already. I went to the kitchen as I thought of what to eat.

Bread will be better, I opened the cupboard as I brought out the flour and the ingredients I was going to use.

"Should I prepare his own or not?" I asked myself as my mind diverted towards that jerk.

No! I'm not preparing his own, he said he wasn't expecting me to come this early. So I should prepare this food around the time he wants me to come.

Or I should just punish him a little bit?

I decided I was going to mix large quantity of flour, after mixing I will keep much in the fridge and bake the rest. 

I started preparing the bread and I was almost done already, I brought out the bread from the oven. Gosh! I'm good when it comes to baking.

I dropped the bread with the tray on the cabinet as I looked up and I was surprised to see him standing at the door entrance. He thought I was preparing this for him? He must be joking.

I told him the reason why I didn't prepare his bread, it sounds convincing but he gave up so easily. He is someone who will never beg no matter what.

I haven't seen him begging before in my life, and I'm very sure he will not beg. He can't prepare food for himself also, his mom spoilt him so much.

I walked past his side as I heard his stomach grumbled and that made me chuckled. He didn't say anything as he went back upstairs.

I guess he must be embarrassed but he doesn't want to show it, sorry to him.

I went back to the freezer as I brought out the mixture that was there and knead the dough. I placed it into the oven as I left the kitchen to eat.

Few Moments Later.

The bread was already done, I served it in a tray as I went upstate.

I knocked his door as he gave me the permission to enter, he was working on his laptop. I wonder what he is doing!!! He barely work on Saturdays.

I thought he was going to be excited but his face has no facial expressions as usual.

I placed it on the desk in the room, I turned my back expecting him to say thank you. Not a single word came out of his mind.

If killing someone wasn't a crime, I would have poisoned that bread. What a jerk!

"Are you done with planning the schedule?" He asked before I could leave the room.

"Yes. I'm going to send it, I just need to convert it to a doc file" I stated.

"I only ask you if you done." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"And when I am talking to you, you look at me. I am your boss." He reminded.

Who doesn't know he is my boss? Why is he always bragging?

I slowly turned my back as his eyes were fixed on me. What a crazy boss?

"I thought you were not going to prepare the bread, so what made you change your mind?" He queried.

"If you are not okay with it I can take the bread back." I informed. It's more like a threat I guess.

Yeah, I just want him to know that.

"The nerves." He muttered.

Why can't he not say it loud! Jerk!!!

I walked out of his room as I went back to my room. I sighed heavily as I landed on the bed. I took my phone as I logged into my tiktok account.

It has been so long I have been on social apps, I envy most of my mates that get to be free and do things they like in social media.

It's not that I don't want to do it, I don't just have the time, I need to take care of my younger sister fees and take care of my parents. I know everything will be okay once again.

I got a notification on my phone about the vacant job at the company, someone applied for it already.  

"Anna Wilson..." The name sounds so familiar.

Whatever! I should interview her on Monday to know if she is qualified for the job.

*Later In The Night*

It was in the night already, I put in my night robe as I planned to sleep not until when my phone started ringing.

"The Crazy Boss." That was the name I used to save my boss contact. Sounds cool right?

What does he want from me again this night, I already prepared the dinner and arranged his room.

I'm not here for business work but for to work as a maid and it's time for me to sleep already. I am going to the chapel tomorrow and from there I am going on a shopping with Eveth.

It is like a normal tradition for eveth to go to the shopping mall every Sunday.

I entered his room as I saw his struggling on the bed, what is wrong with him? He sounded so fine when he called me earlier.

"Get me my medi... cine in my drawer." He managed to say. I quickly ran to the drawer than was in the room as I only saw on medicine there.

I rushed to where he was as I made him sat down and give the medicine to him, with a glass of water in my mind.

What is wrong with him? Ever since I have been working here for the past 3 years, I don't know that he has this kind of illness.

What is the illness all about? 

He calmed down a bit after taking the medicine. I patted his back as he lay on the bed slowly.

My boss is looking like a baby, he's so cute now. I should snap him this way and keep it.I took a picture of him quickly, I should use that to threaten him in the future.

He is sleeping already, woah! So fast. I stood up wanting to leave the room as he held my wrist before I could leave his side.

"Please don't go." He begged. 

Wait! Do I look like his past lover or what? I removed his hand from my wrist

"Just stay with him for this night, what if the illness starts again?"My subconscious said as I just rolled my eyes.

Asshole...I went back to his side as I stood beside him, am I just going to watch him like this.

I lay on the floor, it was pretty cold, but I will just manage even if it is not convenient. I slept off by his side.
