Anna's POV.

I peered through the blinds of Cadel's room, my eyes fixed on the space bus as it pulled up in a cloud of smoke and dust. Its driver was none other than Carson, who gave a nod as he climbed out, his rugged boots kicking up dirt. I raised an eyebrow, wondering where he managed to scrounge up this trusty old bus. A friend perhaps.

Cameroon wheeled out a sturdy luggage, its wheels creaking on the gravelly ground. Meanwhile, Cadel effortlessly slings two duffel bags over his broad shoulder, one belonging to him and the other mine, and strides alongside Cameroon with a confident gait. Together, they smartly loaded the bags into the bus's trunk.

Nicole and Lucas joined the waiting party as Carson conducted a meticulous check on the bus condition, his hands moving with precision as he inspects the bus's tires, fuel gauge, and engine, his eyes squinting in concentration.
