Things were definitely not going well with Evelyn, not that it was her who was accused of murder and neither was her family suffering from bankruptcy but. It was something else.

She held her phone tightly as she dialled a number, the veins In her hands popping out as anger brewed within her.

Hello, the voice from the phone picked up. “How can you throw all of my efforts into the drain like that Huh! You let yourself get caught”. She said her voice was barely audible.

“Oh spare me all of that Evelyn, you only provided me with mediocre information”. Elizabeth replied back in rage. Apparently, they were working together to bring Megan down.

“I did everything you asked of me, Elizabeth”.

“And yet, you couldn't make Mr. Leonard have so much hate for his child that it will break her”. Elizabeth scoffed mockingly.

“I let you hack into the song's database, I made Mr. Leonard angry at his own child, I did all sorts of disastrous things to make sure your plan to eliminate Megan succeeded”. But
