Raven POV
I can't express the immense hell I have been living this last week. It's been officially 2 weeks since my birthday and I haven't never regretted getting older more than I do now. I know I said that if Maximus did anything to me then I would tell Allistar and Dimitri, but it's nothing I haven't dealt with before. Maximus finds me every night and a couple mornings where he just beats the living shit out of me. I must look horrible when people see me for training. No doubt Allistar and Dimitri have noticed my change in appearance. I make sure to wear baggy shirts so the bruises on my chest and stomach aren't noticeable. The bruises and couple times my nose have been broken are definitely bad enough so I can't imagine how they would react if they saw the full damage being done to me. Raven POVAll of a sudden I wake up and for a second I think it was all a nightmare, but that second quickly fades when I realize I'm tied down to the bed. When did I pass out? What happened? As I turn my head to the side to look around the room I feel a sharp pain in my jaw. He must have knocked me out so he could tie me up. Looking at the clock I notice I've been passed out for 20 to 30 minutes and immediately start to panic. I do a quick evaluation of my body to see if any damage has been done. Allistar POVWe are sitting in the small hospital they have here and the images of earlier keep swirling around in my head. I should've realized that Raven's wolf was asking for help and it wasn't just a weird dream. We should have reacted faster and checked on her sooner, then maybe she wouldn't be in this position right now. The pack doctor said he isn't sure how long she will be unconcious due to the extent of injuries she sustained. He noticed right off the bat that she had been injured with silver which is why she lost so much blood and wasn't healing. That sick son of a bitch did this to her and the Alpha doesn't seem to care. Raven POVAll I can see is darkness. I can't see anything, not even a sillhouette of a person. I take a second to listen, hoping I can atleast hear someone to help figure out where I am, but as I stand here all I can hear is my own breathing. My breathing is becoming erratic at the thought of being dead. I can't die by his hands. What kind of death is that. I didn't even get the chance to fight back. I fall to my knees terrified as the memories start rushing back. Last thing I remember is Penelope's face coming towards me which means she got there before he could follow through with what he had planned. Thank Goddess. Allistar POVRaven has been unconcious for a week now. It is getting to the point where the doctor is concerned she won't wake up or if she does wake up, there will be problems with either her body or her ability to connect to her wolf. We have all 3 been taking turns to make sure atleast one of us is here at all times. Maximus has tried to come visit her using the mate thing as a reason why. Thankfully the doctor is aware of what is going on, so he hasn't let him come see her. Allistar POVIt's been 3 days since Raven woke up. We have been waiting patiently for the doctor to clear her so we can set everything in motion. The days waiting made us more and more anxious that our plan may not work the way we planned. Raven POVThe pack doctor has finally cleared me to leave after a few days. All my wounds have healed up with no side effects. He was worried with the amount of silver that had entered my body I wouldn't be able to contact my wolf anymore. Allistar POVSeeing Maximus and Heather standing in front of Raven was not a scene I expected. I knew they were together, but I didn't expect Heather to be as cruel as him. I guess I dodged a bullet on this one. A quick glance towards the stairs was enough for me to realize what was going on. Allistar POVRaven has been unconcious since we arrived at the Opal River pack yesterday. So far it has been 24 hours since we arrived and I can't believe we finally made it safely. No need to worry about Maximus or Heather showing up to try and kil her. We don't have to worry about the pack doctor here doing anything to her that might jeopardize her safety.
