Alan Murray had led Elizabeth to a safe path, the house of Ms Martin was on the outskirts of Crawley, in a hill-like location. A place with an enviable view, such was the case that it would be on par with a beautiful landscape painting. The mist that overcame the village was now heading in their direction. The house of the suspect was now incredibly close when they were suddenly greeted by Ms Martin bargaining her door open with a single-shot pistol aiming towards them. Alan and Elizabeth fall back trying to avoid death. Ms Martin takes her shoot that flies over Elizabeth’s shoulder and hits something behind them. They turned to see what was behind them and to their dismay, it was a corpse with no flesh in its bones, with one of its shoulders broken by the bullet Miss Martin fired. Thomas walked to the abandoned place that belonged to Thompson’s late grandmother, he had no problem following his instructions and in no time he was at the place.The cabin was not that far removed from society, a couple of yards away and the town would be visible, but it was clear that no one walked near it and probably if asked they would deny its existence or just treat it like a haunted place.There was a small path leading up to it but surrounding it was tall grass and he could probably hear rabbits or other rodents moving through it. Elizabeth insisted on going out after the meal was done, she was very excited about what she found in the book and it’s contents. The book was opened in her hand in the invisibility page and was headed for Alan’s chicken coup with a headstrong determination and enthusiasm. “What is the Plan Elizabeth?” Thomas said trying to keep up with her pace. “I think I have a theory but I must test it first” she stood now in front of the coup while the chicken were minding their own business. “Please tell me that we are not hurting these animals?” Thomas said as he notice how anxious Alan was. “I assure you as much, that is if I am right” The blond woman said as she held one hand towards the coup and read the footnote that she found on the Petit Albert and chanted “veni ad me caligo et tegere” Elizabeth had just cast a spell and it started working as a thick mist started covering the coup and the chickens. Alan Murray was giving his wife for a second time, he was trying to stop himself, the tears, the memories and the shock but he held on to the skull of his dead wife. The sight was understandable to Thomas and Elizabeth, even tho this was the first time in the Lady’s life she had ever seen a man show his grief or even cry. Elizabeth gently tapped Thomas's arm letting him know it was okay to let go of her, and with empathy in her heart, she knelt beside him and placed her hand on his shoulder. “This must be extremely hard for you Alan, I can't even…” she didn’t know what to say, the words would not come out of her.
