But Roth never picked up.

Eleanor had been in the mansion since, trying out Roth’s phone every 15 minutes, with it going to voicemail every time. She had been more worried than frustrated. Now what Tristan had said seemed true, despite Roth having denied it.

Until she went on instagram randomly and a video in which Roth was tagged in came on her feed, then another, and then another, and then several after that. His recent scandal had earned Roth more popularity than what he already had.

Now Eleanor was only frustrated.

Tristan’s answer did not seem to satisfy Oliver, and Tristan could tell that. There was doubt clearly written over Oliver’s face and Tristan knew just the way to wipe that off.

He walked up to Oliver, his unbuttoned shirt hanging on his arms, revealing his chiseled abs underneath, and put both hands around his arms. As he looked into Oliver’s eyes with a soft gaze, he could tell that Oliver’s heart had lurched.
