57. Don't Cross The Line

Lucy’s POV

He looked at me like he didn't understand what was going on. My hand caught his attention. I held on tight. My tears fell slowly to my cheeks, and he cupped his hand around my face and softly wiped them away.

"I'm sorry, Lucy… I'm really sorry if I was a little late. I'm sorry for making you wait."

He bowed down gently, carefully, and lovingly kissed my lips before stopping. "Lucy, we can't..."

"Please...."

As he placed me in the sink, he kissed the bruising on my neck tenderly and then spread his gentle kisses around my entire body.

Tears were trickling down my cheek as I nervously chewed on my lower lip.

“It’s alright…” he assured me while kissing me over and over again.

Slowly closing my eyes, I kissed him back and told myself that maybe I could forget what had happened. Arman might be able to take away all my pain, and then everything might be okay.

Then, that night, I gave him everything I had, leaving only my love for him.
