Chapter 14

A new dawn

Arya ran through the bushes, her heart close to her throat. Whoever was chasing her was close to her. Her feet ached so badly, and she was running out of breath.

She ignored the branches and leaves that sapped through her arms while she ran. Her legs ran tipped on the floor, and it carried her as fast as she could.

She dripped on the branch and fell to the ground with a big thub. The brown wolf that was chasing her was almost close to her. She held both hands to the ground, dragging her weight with the little strength left. As she drew away, she could see the speed of the wolf almost close to her; her hands quivered, and her heart was playing a rhythm beating beneath her rib cage.
