33. A Bad Luna

The gun fire blasted out from various points across the woods and forest as Ben instinctively tucked his body over mine in a protective stance.

"F**k this crazy bitch." I groaned. I moved to survey my surroundings, but Ben held me tight with a protective growl.

"Ben, we are out in the open here. You need to let me go. We need to fight together like Luna and Alpha." I said, and he let me go.

"You stay close, little mate." Kane's voice rumbled from Ben's chest with a silent understanding settling between us.

"Always." I said with sincerity as a passing bullet ruined our moment, and we dashed for cover. Once I hit the cover of thick trees, I spotted the Luna Megan darting amoungst the bushes. She was directing hunters towards the Alpha's pack house where the vulnerable pack members were.

"Get control of the weak and the pack children, and they will surrender." she barked straight away, and my wolf spoke in my head.
