Concordia, Seven Hundred Years Before

“We are trying to save Harithen,” Thaelen knew that it would look bad despite his words, for he had Harithen’s blood on his face and in his beard and he had just been licking his wounds. He and Meguitte were in a tent of Greibron bodies, without witnesses other than Harithen, and with Harithen slipping into and out of consciousness, the human could hardly speak in their defense.

Behind the priest were a half dozen noble men and soldiers, and already they had drawn their weapons. Very clearly, Thaelen realized the danger that they were in, and that those people responsible for the slaughter of everyone in the tent probably stood before him. They had every reason to want to blame him and Meguitte, and to silence them and Harithen.

I feel horrible for Harry!! He has lost so much and all for others to get ahead!! I knew the priest was behind as of this. I hope the priest suffers dearly, and his fall from grace is HUGE AND SPECTACULAR. I feel bad for Harry it disgust me that they are trying to pin this on Talen.

Poor Harry! So much loss so quickly and all bc they were risks to their sister's crown and bc the priests wanted to bring the One God to Concordia. It may not be time for Thaelen to think about relocating this people

I wonder if Harry gets revenge on his family after he’s turned. Not the baby of course, but mother dearest and his sister. Possible her husband if he’s in on it. And I hope Sigrid gets to kill the priest. That would be epic.
